The Bay Area Nursing Resource Center provides three centralized, nursing education services for schools of nursing and clinical agencies within the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area, the goal of which is to significantly improve the quality of nursing care in the Bay Area.
The Centralized Clinical Placement System is in use by over 45 schools of nursing (private, public, and vocational) and over 70 hospitals. CCPS streamlines the nursing student clinical placements process, with the long-term effects of increasing student capacity at local schools. The Centralized Faculty Resource Center, released at www.iTeachNursing.org in 2006, will improve the utilization of existing and new clinical faculty, increasing the student capacity at nursing schools
